Julio Mondragon vs Luis Gonzalez
1:20 Triangle/Arm Bar Luis Gonzalez
Mondragon opened the fight landing the initial strikes and Luis immediately went for the clinch and a takedown.
Julio ended up in Gonzalez' guard and began working his ground and pound. Luis kept his cool as he comes
from a jits camp and knows how to work off of his back. When the opportunity came Luis cinched in a triangle
choke that put Mondragon away at 1:20 into the fight.
Juan Araujo vs Kevin Koy
Juan Araujo wins by TKO as Kevin Koy fails to make it out of the bell after the first round. The doctor stops
the bout as Kevin could no longer continue. Araujo ground and pounded his way to a victory by landing some
vicious punches that could have merited a referee stoppage earlier in the round.
JC Llamas vs Juan Jimenez
Juan Jimenez wins split decision in what could be the fight of the night. Both fighters exchanged kicks, punches
and takedowns in the three rounds.
Wilber Reaves vs Matt Salazar
Matt Salazar wins by Rear Naked Choke at 2:03 into the 1st round. Wilber didn't have the same technical
skills of his opponent and eventually gave up the choke.
Tony Vera vs Anthony Vargas
Anthony "A-bomb" Vargas gets a TKO victory in the second round over Eagle Mountains own Tony Vera. It was a
hard fought battle between the nights lone heavyweights but it was Vargas' A-bombs that finally put the fight
away.
Carlos Cordero vs Augie Garcia
Carlos Cordero splits Augie in the forehead with a knee that sends blood gushing everywhere. After the second
round the doctor was forced to stop the bout due to the cut. Cordero wins by TKO.
Oscar Martinez vs Adam Calderon
Adam Calderon wins by TKO in the second round as he drops Oscar Martinez with a knee then cleans it up with
ground and pound. The fight is called at 17 seconds in the second round.
Ray Cervera vs Joe Murphy
Ray Cervera and Joe Murphy gave the crowd at The Warriors Cage the Fight of the Night. This truly was a back
and forth war between these young warriors. At one point Cervera had the fight and the next second Murphy
would have a near tap choke. In the end the judges saw it as a split decision victory for Joe Murphy.
C.J. Keith vs John Reedy
C.J. Keith survives the early onlslaught by John Reedy and lands an up kick from his back, cutting Reedy and
sending him to the ground. Keith wins the bout at 1:59 seconds into the fight by TKO.
