I am sure a few of you are still recovering from the hangover that you received from all the partying that followed the first ever Tachi Palace Fights. Get used to it because with only a few days after the TPF 1 the new card for the TPF 2 on December 3 is already taking shape in what will surpass TPF 1.
Only 3 fights were released but damn they have the potential to be great memorable fights. Goodman and Luchau had said that with 8-10 fights the Palace can place more money on the individual purses rather than spread it out to 15 different fights. This makes for a stellar card as long as no one drops out due to injury or anything of the sort.
Right now the first fights released are Shawn Klarcyk vs Jesse Bowen, Diego Saraiva vs Eddie Yagin and Mike Moreno vs “Professor X” Xavier Foupa-Pokam.
Klarcyk a great submission wrestler, who is coming off 2 tough losses the last being to Shawn Bias at the last PFC Best of Both Worlds, has been working on his stand-up game the last few months. Jesse Bowen, coming off a big win against veteran Phil Perez, is on a 5 fight win streak and ready to make the jump from PureCombat on to Lemoore.
Diego Saraiva the current PFC 145 lb Champ had a great win over previous champ Jorge Evangelista. Eddie Yagin, all I can say is “Explosive”, he dominated Casey Olson in his last PFC fight and to be honest, this fight will most likely be the Fight of the Night on December 3. I cannot wait to see this fight.
Tachi Palace Fights 2 also brings the return of the guy once called the Phenom, Mike “El Palo Duro” Moreno when he faces off with the electrifying Professor X. This is going to be a good stand-up war as both fighters prefer to stay on their feet.
Great fights, let’s hope they still intact and I can’t wait to see which other fights fill the card. Great job Tachi Palace Fights!
