Fight Results

Freddi Aquintania vs Javy Ayala

Javy Ayala continues his undefeated streak, moving to 3-0 afte a solid stand-up victory over Alpha Male's Freddie Aquintania. Both fighters gave a great opening bout to the Tachi Palace fans, keeping the action going all three rounds, which is un-heard of these days for heavyweights

Alex Perez vs Edgar Diaz

Edgar Diaz notches away at the previously un-blemished record of Alex Perez by sinking in a guillotine choke seconds into the fight and finally getting the tap at 43 clicks into the fight.

Sergio Quinones vs Jesse Bowen

Jesse Bowen gets a Unanimous Decision win over Sergio Quinones. It was a lackluster performance by both fighters with Bowen landing strikes on top and Sergio getting takedowns at will but not capitalizing on them.

Paul Ruiz vs Anthony Figueroa

Gilroy's Anthony Figueroa out points the young Paul "Pauly" Ruiz, scoring 30-27 on all of the three judges score cards. Ruiz didn't seem to want to engage in the fight and stayed on the outside constantly catching Anthony's overhand right. The loss was the first for Paul Ruiz (2-1) and the win puts Figueroa at .500 (6-6-1).

Bubba Jenkins vs Josh Williams

Bubba Jenkins, bringing all of the hype of his national wrestling prestige, easily hands a TKO victory to Josh Williams. At 2:04, Williams verbally tapped as Jenkins was working his ground and pound.

Savant Young vs Robert Washington

Savant Young ends the crowds pain by submitting Robert Washington by way of a guillotine choke at 41 seconds in the second round. The crowd was just about to get restless from the slow moving fight when Young put a stop to the bout.

Brad McDonald vs Francisco Rivera

Francisco Rivera, stuns the crowd as he makes quick work of the favorite Bad Brad McDonald. Rivera lead with a head kick then followed with a big one-two that knocked McDonald out and sent him to the canvas. The ref stopped the bout at 40 seconds into the opening bell

Andrew Martinez vs Phil Collins

Congratulations to Phil "The Pain" Collins for his 3:39 second guillotine submission win over Mickey Martinez. Bloody Mayhem would like to thank Phil for all of the exciting fights he has given the local fight scene here in the Central Valley. Happy Retirement Phil!!!

Dustin Ortiz vs Josh Rave

Dustin Ortiz gets a TKO win due to doctor stoppage at 4:38 in the third and final round against Josh Rave.

Ulysses Gomez vs Cody Gibson

In the co-main event of the night, Ulysess Gomez squared off against Cody Gibson for the the Tachi Palace Fights vacant Bantamweight Championship. Cody Gibson opened up strong using his reach and stand-up game to win the first and second rounds but once the third came in, Gibson was visibly tired. Gomez used his experience and kept his composure and waited for the right moment to attack. In the third, Gomez used his jab effectively and that setup a takedown that would eventually lead to the guillotine choke ending the night. At 2:36 in the third round the ref called a stop due to submission.

Isaac De Jesus vs Georgi Karakhanyan

Georgi Karakhanyan and Isaac De Jesus had the spotlight tonight for the Featherweight Championship belt. Both fighters had a great exchange early in the first round but once the fight went to the ground, Karakhanyan was king. Georgi had a great arm bar that De Jesus narrowly escaped and then was able to bait Isaac back down and into a triangle choke that was to tight for De Jesus. The bout was called at 4:02 into the first round, crowning Georgi Karakhanyan the new Tachi Palace Fights Featherweight Champion.
