Easton, CA July 26 2008 - Matdaddy.com hosted its first ever grappling event, Matdaddy Classic, at Washington Union High School on July 26 2008. The show proved to be a big success with the hard work of Chris Sanchez and the Matdaddy.com team. Competitors from the valley came together to show their skills and to prove who the Matdaddy Classic Champion was.

The skill levels were separated into three categories: high school, novice and advanced. Grapplers of all skills and ages showed up early Saturday morning for the weigh-ins then shortly after the tournament began. With 2 full-size wrestling mats spread throughout the gymnasium the tournament moved fairly quickly. It was a well run event that was flawless from start to finish.

We looked forward to another Matdaddy.com event and hope more of you can make it out to this great tournament next time its in town.
