At 37 seconds of the first round, Justin Smitley handled his opponent Sergio Cortez with ease. Smitley attempted an early kick that was caught by Cortez and used to throw Smitley to the ground. Cortez quickly jumped on the opportunity to mount but Justin had none of it as he easily transitioned into an arm bar that forced Cortez to top. Justin Smitley is the new Gladiator Challenge Featherweight Champion.
