Joe Soto Dominates in First Round of Bellator Fighting Championship 1

Joe Soto of Porterville CA took his 4-0 mma record on the road to the inaugural Bellator Fighting Championship BFC 1. He faced a tough competitor in Ben Greer 11-4. In typical Joe Soto fashion, the victory for Soto came in the first round at 3:40. After a few takedown attempts, Joe was able to take Greer down to the canvas. Greer tried to escape but Soto's ground and pound was relentless and after a few unanswered punches, the ref stopped the bout calling it T.K.O. due to strikes.

Congratulations goes out to Joe Soto for the win. This moves him thru to round 2 of the 8 man featherweight tournament. The fight took place in Florida this afternoon. Soto a Porterville native has been spending his time training with David Terrell at the NorCal Fighting Alliance in Santa Rosa, CA and at Fairtex Muay Thai Fitness in San Francisco and of course back home with Paul Estrada at The Garage in Porterville.

To watch Joe Soto's T.K.O. win over Ben Greer, tune in to ESPN Deportes from 9-11 pm Saturday April 4th.
