Home » The Jim and Joe MMA ShowIt seems like every day something new for mixed martial arts comes out such as a new promotion, a new fighter, definitely new clothing lines,TV shows and new radio shows. Many of these new venures are short-lived, and only a handful will be considered great, especially when it comes to radio shows. Now, personally I have never been too much of a fan of radio shows. I consider myself to have a slight case of A.D.D., so I can quickly lose interest in people talking, and even more when I am listening to them over the radio! I have only been interested in a handful of radio shows and I recently added another one to my selections. The Jim and Joe MMA Show, starring Jim Drago and Joe Pacheco, both residents of Clovis California. It is a new MMA online radio show that talks about everything MMA from around the world. It’s a weekly show released every Sunday night with re-runs located on their website www.jjmmashow.com.
The reason I have found this show interesting is because I believe Jim and Joe's personalities are a dynamite pair, which not only makes for an compeling show, but an extremely informative MMA source. I just hate when you have one dominant character and the cronies, they call partners or co-hosts, might as well be puppets. But not this show, both Jim and Joe can handle the hot seat and take over any interview at any given time.
They have some of MMA’s biggest names on the show, but the best thing about them is that they are from Clovis. That’s right, Clovis, not like most big MMA Radio shows which reside in major cities, such as New York and Miami. You can find these guys at your local bar throwing a few beers back, or in Jim’s case, on the golf course also throwing some beers back. They are the average fan but with a radio show and actually know what they are doing. It is only a matter of time and these guys will be syndicated everywhere.
